Each WWE wrestler has their time to shine and show off what they can do. Edge had some of the best matches in the ring that you will ever see. He was never known for his agility, but more for his power moves like chokeslams, backbreakers, and spear tackles.
Edge is considered one of the top 10 greatest wrestlers of all time by many wrestling fans because he could go toe-to-toe with any opponent he faced. He was also a great tag team partner on multiple occasions with people like Christian and Rey Mysterio Jr.
Check out this list to see if your favorite match made it!
Edge vs. Ric Flair
Ric Flair has been in the game for over three decades and he’s still got it. The WWE Championship match with TLC was an excellent tease of what could be possible at WrestleMania 33, as both men showed off their mortality by taking part even though they are well past 30 years old – but not quite ready to retire just yet!
And this is why you should never count Ric out: He goes down swinging against his opponent Edge who will now forevermore carry around emotional scars from watching one too many wrestling matches that involved blood loss (and aged faces).
Edge vs. Jeff Hardy
Two of the most prestigious ladder match competitors in WWE history, Edge and Jeff Hardy were given top billing for their bout at tonight’s show. They didn’t disappoint!
It’s no surprise that these two legends went all out with this challenge by doing everything from scaling ladders to performing crazy stunts off them – it made for an amazing display live on TV as well as one worth watching again immediately after viewing its conclusion
Edge vs. Mick Foley
Edge and Mick Foley might be two of the most experienced tag team fighters in WWE history, but that didn’t mean they were immune to injury. Edge’s sheer brutality during his career often earned him a spot on this list with one match ranking as high as number eight: “The Gauntlet Matches.”
In addition to putting opponents through tables or walls at will (literally), he also took part in bloody hardcore matches like those between “Hardcore” HBK vs Rhyno – which can proudly hold up its own against anything else ever broadcasted from Monday Nitro!
Edge vs. Matt Hardy
You can’t help but feel for Matt and Lita in this one. Edge really did steal their girl, even though they hated each other! The feud was intense because these two had such a strong dislike for one another that it felt like something you didn’t want to watch at times – until the end of course… when violence became inevitable (and fitting).
Edge vs. Randy Orton
This one’s a real slow starter, but it does get exciting at the end! The entire match is worth watching and I’m not mad about these matches taking their time in building up. What makes them so impressive though? It all comes down to how they close with each other – when you think everything can’t possibly be any more intense than what we’ve already seen…and then BAM!, something new happens that will blow your mind (literally).
Edge vs. John Cena
As two of the biggest names in wrestling history, Edge vs. John Cena was a match that had people on edge with every move they made. With near falls and high impact spots both before and after this final series to determine who would walk out alive at WrestleMania 32 next year, you couldn’t ask for more excitement!
Edge vs. The Undertaker
The PG Era was just getting started when Edge faced off against The Undertaker in a hybrid of TLC and Hell In A Cell matches. This match didn’t have any blood or guts, but it still delivered an excellent show thanks to their amazing chemistry together!
This is where WWE’s new PG-era began – without all the violence you might expect from your typical wrestling event; yet there are some intense moments nonetheless as these two superstars battle for dominance over “The Cell”. And if anything can stand between them? It would be nothing less than fate itself…
Edge vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels
When you have four great wrestlers in the ring at once, it will be an amazing experience no matter what. Edge vs John Cena has been one of my favorite matches and they don’t even need to do anything special for this match! The crowd goes wild when these guys come out because we all know who’s going to win but still enjoy watching them compete against each other anyway
The tone should sound casual without sounding too simple or repetitive
Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero
When it comes to making an impression, Edge and Eddie Guerrero are one in the same. They both want people around them – from different companies or just friends back home for their little show down-to witness what they can do at any given moment: be THE best!
But when these two opposites battle each other? Well, then you’re really seeing something special because there may not have been anyone better than either man during his time on SmackDown!
Edge vs. Kurt Angle
Edge vs. Kurt Angle is one of the most anticipated matches on WWE’s card this year, and for good reason! These two have a history that has produced some fantastic bouts together with Edge always stealing victory from under his opponent’s nose byproduct their hairline loss in WrestleMania X8 where he defeated Shawn Micheals Two-Time Heavyweight Champion.
The match between these superstars at “Wrestlemania” was great but nothing compared to how it felt watching them compete against each other live during another failed attempt at toppling The Rated R Superstar once again thanks to Edge managing to find new ways around Angles signature submission move which would eventually become famous as ‘music knows.’
Edge is one of the most popular WWE superstars to watch. His matches are not only entertaining, but they show just how talented he was at what he did. These 10 best matches will give you a sense of why so many people loved him and continue to miss his presence in wrestling today. Which of these top ten matches would you recommend?
